Artist Criteria/Policies

Criteria

  • Only artists with Self-Made items will be permitted. Certain manufactured/mass produced items will be allowed (example: Prints), but all applications will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
  • All items produced must be original works produced by the Artist(s) represented at that table.

Process

  • Artists will all be juried; all applications will be checked for validity. Application opens Feburary 1st at 12:01 AM ET.
  • Artist Application closes on July 31st at 11:59pm ET. Holiday Matsuri reserves the right to close the application early or late depending on responses.
  • After the application closes, all of the applications will be reviewed by our Vendor Staff.
  • All artists passing the criteria will be emailed. Those that meet the criteria will be given at least one week notice before the Artist Booths go online.
  • After the Artist Booths are full, the Waitlist will be activated. If someone cancels, then the waitlist will be checked.

Policies

  • Artists will be given one 6′ Table with two chairs. It will also include one wastebasket to share with the next table.
  • Artists will be permitted to load in at the same time as Exhibitors and Vendors. Please be on the lookout for those times.
  • Artists found to be selling manufactured goods will be asked to remove them. If they are found to be selling manufactured goods again, Holiday Matsuri has the right to ask your company to leave (without refund), or be required to pay a fine.
  • Plagiarism is not tolerated at Holiday Matsuri. Those found plagiarizing the items of others may be warned to remove the items, or may be removed from Holiday Matsuri without refund.

Refunds & Transfer Policy

  • Refunds will only be honored within the first 60 days after the purchase has been made, and only if we are contacted prior to 12:01 AM ET on October 1st, 2017. Please use our contact page to contact us if you wish to make a refund request.
  • Tickets will not be mailed.
  • If you wish to make any changes to the name of your booth, selling items or links, please use the EventBrite UI to change your ticket information. If you have questions regarding your Eventbrite account or how to process the edit, please contact Eventbrite for assistance. We may stop the editing of information after a certain date, with a notification on Facebook and/or Twitter.
