Press Pass Opportunities
Press Passes are available to Traditional Media Outlets (television, radio, newspaper, magazines) and Online Media Outlets (websites, blogs, podcasts, video sites).
The Press Pass will grant general access to all of the convention events (excluding pay events) and gives a more professional impression when requesting to interview guests and convention attendees.
Members of the press are subject to the same rules, regulations and policies as normal attendees and must be on their best behavior.
Please fill out the Press Application Form below. You must be approved before the convention to recieve press badges.
Companies Press/ Group Press Passes
For group and company press badges, you may have up to 3 press badges. If more passes are needed, that can be purchased at a discounted price. Please have each individual in the group submit a application form.
If a member needs to be switched out with another, please send an email with the old members name and the new members name. Please have the new member fill out an application.
In the Details section of the form, please designate a member who will pick up the passes, or each member will need to pick up their passes separately with proper ID.
If you are granted a press pass, we ask that you do a piece/share information regarding Holiday Matsuri 2012 before, during and after the event.
The promotion staff will work with you to help secure possible advanced information and possible interview opportunities with Holiday Matsuri staff and/or guests.
We will also add you to a mailing list for any related press releases.
Press Badge Pick-Up will be located at pre-registration. Please bring your approval letter and proper identification.
Note: Your pass is not approved until you have received a confirmation email from Holiday Matsuri. Do not assume that you have been approved and just show up to the convention expecting to receive a press badge. You will be asked to purchase a regular convention pass.
Press pass are distributed at the discretion of the convention staff.
Press Passes can be revoked with for breaking con policies or reasonable cause.
Links to Holiday Matsuri: We will post downloadable links that you can add to your website/blog/internet articles/ etc. Holiday Matsuri would appreciate if you used them.
