Hello and thank you for being part of this year‘s Holiday Matsuri!
Thank you especially for your attention and commitment to our mask policy.
As you all know COVID-19 is still absolutely present in the community and we appreciate all of you helping us to keep each other safe.
The omicron variant of COVID is incredibly infectious (though thus far has shown not to be causing severe disease in the vaccinated) and there have been positive tests reported among people who have been at the show.
We encourage you to consider testing and follow CDC guidelines if you have had close contact with anyone outside your household or if you are experiencing symptoms.
Close contact is defined as:
– being less than 6 feet apart
– one or both parties not wearing a mask over their nose and mouth With the above lasting longer than 15 minutes over the span of 24 hours.
Testing should occur 5-7 days after exposure if you’re not experiencing symptoms.
Testing is available at no cost to you, no matter which state you live in.
If you have questions about obtaining testing please feel free to reach out to the HolMat page and we’ll be happy to point you in the right direction.
More information on CDC guidelines can be found here:
Thank you again for joining us and hope that each of you have a safe, happy, and healthy holiday season.
