What is Holiday Matsuri?

Holiday Matsuri is Florida’s largest festively themed Anime, Gaming, and Cosplay convention, held every December in Orlando at the Orange County Convention Center and the Hyatt Regency Orlando. Thousands of attendees come together to celebrate their favorite fandoms with a holiday twist. The event features cosplay contests, interactive workshops and panels, holiday shopping, gaming tournaments, dances, and more. It’s the perfect place to connect with the community, share passions with fellow fans, and spread the joy of the winter season.

Holiday Matsuri is hosted from December 20-22, 2024.

This year, Holiday Matsuri will be held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL,

Holiday Matsuri is a family-friendly event, and attendees of all ages are welcome. However, some activities may have age suggestions/restrictions. Check the event schedule for details. 18+ Content Requires an 18+ wristband for entry. A valid government-issued photo ID is required to receive an 18+ wristband.

Badge FAQs

Badges can be purchased online here. Select the type of badge and follow the checkout process. Badges can also be purchased at registration during the event.

Yes, badges can be purchased at the event, but we recommend purchasing in advance online to avoid long lines and ensure availability.

Badge: The essential item you need to enter Holiday Matsuri

Ticket: Some specific events at Holiday Matsuri require an additional ticket along with your badge. These events are known as "Ticketed Events."

Ticketed Events include, but are not limited to:

  • Benefit Ball
  • Maid Cafe
  • Bro Cafe
  • Cosplay Workshops

If you plan to attend these special events, you can purchase your tickets online in advance or onsite at the Registration, subject to availability.

We accept the following forms of payment for Pre-Registration:
Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express branded debit/credit cards

For at-door registration we accept:
Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express branded debit/credit cards and Cash

Badges can be replaced, for a fee, by visiting Registration.

Holiday Matsuri does not provide refunds for badges.  This policy is also posted in the ticket description on the website when purchasing your badge.

Hotel FAQs

We have partnered with several hotels near the Orange County Convention Center to offer discounted rates for attendees. Our partner hotels include our Host Hotel the Hyatt Regency Orlando and our additional room block hotels, the Rosen Plaza Hotel, the Rosen Centre Hotel, and the Hilton Orlando. Hotel Booking Information Coming Soon!

Holiday Matsuri does not provide support for hotel reservations. If you have any issues with your reservation or need to make any changes, please contact the hotel directly where your reservation was made. They will be able to assist you with any concerns or changes needed.
