All registered artists are required to be physically present at their assigned tables throughout convention hours (Friday through Sunday). Tables may not be staffed by third-party sellers, intermediaries, or unauthorized representatives. During Artist Alley check-in, the applicant must present government-issued photo identification matching the name submitted in their application before receiving permission to set up. Only artwork created by the table’s registered artist may be sold at that location. Special circumstances involving collaborative projects or designated assistants require prior written approval through the application process. Violations of this policy, including identity misrepresentation or unauthorized sale of another creator’s work, will result in immediate ejection from Holiday Matsuri’s Artist Alley and a lifetime ban from participating in future events.
Tables are not transferable: Any artist who sublets or transfers their table is subject to removal without refund.
Artwork generated via the use of artificial intelligence, machine learning or similar algorithms, is prohibited at Holiday Matsuri. Selling or promotion of AI generated art is cause for removal without a refund from any vendor or artist booth.
