From beyond the shadows, Nocturna emerges to spread their darkness to the world. Five girls, each afflicted with a unique curse, work in tandem to leave their impact on the human race. Their siren’s song is sure to lure you in, but be sure to keep your wits about you, for pain is right around the corner. Should you fall victim to their misfortune, all you can do is pray that you make it out alive. Nocturna is a group of 5 friends who are based in Orlando. We were brought together through a mutual love of Japanese fashion, idol culture, and cosplay. Between the five of us, we have a professional seamstress, a choreographer, a cosplay coordinator, a drag entertainer and makeup artist, and a talented lead vocalist. Our goal in creating this group was to combine each of our unique skillsets with our shared love of alternative music and horror iconography. We take inspiration from other alternative idol groups like Phantom Siita and MADMED, as well as classic horror movies and animations. Nocturna is an original concept kaigai idol group where each member plays a character of their own creation. We use our own vocals, create our own costumes, and represent each member’s unique personality on stage. Nocturna debuted as a group in the summer of 2025 at Next Stage’s Metro Fest and with multiple lives under our belt, we are ready to release our first original song. Holmat was a first convention for many of us and we could not imagine a better stage to perform our debut single for the very first time.
